The Half Moon, SW15 1EU , [Venue Details]Country In The Afternoon returns to The Half Moon Putney on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th May 2026 for its 15th edition. Four superb country & americana artists will appear each afternoon reflecting the broad spectrum of these genres.
Saturday 16th May will be headlined at 4pm by Nashville-based Ryan Kinder, a soul-driven country-rock artist known for his guitar chops, gritty vocals, authentic storytelling and dynamic musicianship. With over 100 million streams and collaborations with icons like John Fogerty and Zac Brown Band, Ryan continues to push boundaries and connect with audiences worldwide. His debut album, Room to Dream, introduced listeners to his soul-driven country-rock sound. With his latest album, Heirloom, Ryan takes listeners deeper into his journey of introspection and authenticity.
Opening up the day at 1pm will be award-winning contemporary singer-songwriter Chris Fox, who is an independent musician spanning the roots lexicon of folk, americana, country and blues. A genre defying troubadour, audiences are enthralled by his rich vocals, complex guitar playing, and loop pedal alchemy, finding Chris to be humorous & thought provoking in equal measures.
